BPC-157: also known as body protective compound or “pentadecapeptide” this is a naturally occurring peptide in your gut. It has 15 amino acid sequence and its mechanism of action is unclear but it demonstrates cytoprotection, ie prevents or reduces damage to the stomach and intestines, provides rejuvenation and repair of any tissue, in particular muscle and connective tissue. It’s a great peptide if you have suffered an injury and has not healed or if you underwent surgery and want to speed up the healing process. It’s also a great peptide for those suffering from GI issues such as IBD, IBS, colitis, gastric ulcers and more!

Uses:

  • GI problems: irritable bowel syndrome, irritable bowel disease (ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease), esophagitis, GI ulcers, GERD, leaky gut
  • Soft tissue injury such as muscle sprain, surgical repair of a joint, tendon injury, etc
  • Rheumatological diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis
  • Osteoarthritis

Key Benefits:

  • Heals soft tissue injuries, such as ligaments, tendons, and muscle. By promoting cellular turnover, cellular migration and angiogenesis (development of new vascular supply ie capillaries and blood vessels in regards to tissue repair). Promotes ENOS (endothelial nitric oxide synthase) promotes more vascular flow to form at the injury site and around the injury site which allows more blood to flow and therefore nutrients to repair the injured tissue. It also calls for fibroblast migration and growth at the injury site which allows bridging of the injury supporting those tissues.
  • Helps GI tract (stomach ulcers, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, esophagitis, etc)
  • Upregulates GH receptors in soft tissues
  • Stimulates blood flow into injured sites (tendons and ligaments)
  • Upregulates nitric oxide (which promotes vasodilation and nutrient delivery)
  • Activates the FAK-paxicillin pathway which regulates cellular migration and proliferation and their interaction with actin which is involved on cytoskeletal remodeling process. In other words, the process of rebuilding and remodeling soft tissue.

ADR: injection site rx, flushing (subsides in a few days), myalgia (rare could be due to upregulation of GH connective tissue), nausea, headaches.

KPV: This tripeptide -lysine, proline and valine – is derived from alpha melanocyte stimulating hormone (alpha-MSH). It modulates multiple anti-inflammatory properties. Uses:

  • Treatment for psoriasis (topical route)
  • When combined with BPC-157, these two peptides powerfully enhance the body’s natural healing processes, making them particularly beneficial for individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or dealing with chronic inflammatory conditions. This combination therapy can accelerate recovery, reduce pain, and improve overall tissue regeneration, providing a comprehensive approach to healing.

ADR: if topically may cause flushing or local side reaction

TB-500: a synthetic fraction of thymosin beta 4 design to promote healing in various tissues. This peptide shows also promising effects on tendons, ligaments, muscle, skin, eyes, and heart. Similar to BPC-157 it upregulates cell proliferation (increases the number of cells involved in the healing process), cell migration (improves movement of cells to site of injury enhancing its repair), and tissue regeneration (promotes repair and has regeneration properties in various tissues). Advanced benefit minimizes scar tissue formation during healing process.

Key Benefits

  • Healing effects in tendons, ligaments, muscle, skin, heart and eyes
  • Faster recovery from post op surgery
  • Faster recovery from minor injuries to muscles and tendons
  • Decrease pain and inflammation

ADR: injection site reaction, flushing, hypersensitivity, headache, vertigo
